Dr Steven Bollipo

Dr Steven Bollipo is the Director of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at John Hunter Hospital Newcastle. He is also the Deputy Chair of the College Policy and Advocacy Council of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He has a wide range of interests in Gastroenterology and Hepatology including his passion for Outreach Liver Clinics in rural areas and research in all aspects of Hepatocellular Carcinoma. He is currently part of two major research grants in liver cancer research. He is active on social media and one of the most popular gastroenterologists on Twitter as @stevenbollipo discussing a wide variety of topics from colonoscopy technique, endoscopic non-technical skills (Scopemanship) to the MAFLD vs NAFLD nomenclature debate.
