Professor Michaela Lucas is a Clinical Immunologist and Immunopathologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) and the Perth Children’s Hospital, and is Clinical Professor at the University of Western Australia, Perth. Her research and clinical interests are in the areas of drug allergy, and transplant immunology. She has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has held multiple NHMRC and ACH2 grants as a principal and co-investigator, and is currently Principal Investigator at the SCGH site for the BRACE trial, investigating BCG vaccination to Reduce the impact of COVID-19 in Australian healthcare workers following Coronavirus Exposure.
