This review is a summary of a recent speaker event held in Sydney titled ‘Driving the Frontier Forum’, which focussed on clinical guidance on NOACs use in atrial fibrillation.
The presentations were conducted by Dr Elaine Hylek, Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of the Education and Training Division of the Clinical Translational Research Institute of the Boston University School of Medicine, USA; Professor Prash Sanders, a clinical and academic electrophysiologist in Adelaide; and Professor Ron Grunstein a consultant physician in sleep disorders and head of the Sleep and Circadian Research Group at the Woolcock Institute.
